Maternity Services
When an expecting mother decides to have her baby at McKenzie-Willamette, she is teamed up with a Maternity Care Coordinator who works with the mother throughout the entire hospital experience. She assists the parents to develop a birthing plan, coordinates any needed community assistance and explains hospital processes. Around the clock obstetrician care and more than 40 nurses are on staff to ensure our patients experience a positive stay. As a level two nursing facility, the birthing center is equipped to take care of babies who need a little extra help. We can provide extra oxygen, antibiotics for an infection or special help with feeding. The Center also has its own operating room for cesarean surgery.
