MMcKenzie-Willamette Medical Center Announces Expanded OB/GYN Provider Team
24/7 obstetrician coverage continues at Women’s Health & Birth Unit.
SPRINGFIELD, OR (October 30, 2025)—McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center (MWMC) announces continued obstetric coverage after the departure of Oregon Medical Group OB/GYNs. Beginning November 1, the Women’s Health & Birth Unit will continue to provide 24/7 obstetrician coverage, supported by OB/GYNs, labor and delivery specialists, nurses, and experienced maternity caregivers.
“We’re proud to expand our OB/GYN team so families can continue receiving maternity care from trusted providers close to home,” said Greg Brentano, Interim CEO of McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center. “We are excited to welcome these physicians and look forward to supporting more families as they grow right here in Lane County.”
As a Level II nursery, MWMC is equipped to care for newborns who may require more specialized support after delivery.
