McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center Names Mark Robinson as Chief Executive Officer

SPRINGFIELD, OR (June 16, 2026)McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center (MWMC) today announced that Mark Robinson has been named Chief Executive Officer, effective July 20.

Robinson brings nearly 30 years of hospital operations and executive leadership experience to MWMC. Most recently, he served as CEO of Great Falls Hospital and Clinic in Montana, where he led initiatives to improve patient care and expand services. Prior to that, he served as Market Leader and President of Tacoma and Allenmore hospitals for MultiCare. Earlier in his career, he held several CEO and COO positions within HCA Healthcare for nearly two decades.

“Mark brings deep, well-rounded experience in hospital operations and a genuine commitment to the people who make this hospital run every day,” said Dr. Jay Chappell, Chairman of the Board of McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center. “We’re confident in his ability to lead MWMC forward, and we’re looking forward to him getting to know our staff, physicians, and the broader community.”

Robinson holds a Master of Business Administration and Master of Health Administration from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where he was also a Division I soccer player.

“I am honored to step into this role, and I look forward to getting to know everyone at the hospital, clinics, and in the community,” said Robinson. “Listening and learning from our teams will be one of my first priorities, and I’m committed to working alongside our staff as we continue building on McKenzie-Willamette’s strong foundation.”

Robinson and his family will relocate to the Springfield area ahead of his start date.
